Volunteers are an integral part of the success of Summerfest. Sign up to help and when you're on the shift, you'll receive a Summerfest T-Shirt and Hat.. and LUNCH! All volunteer opportunities require at least a 1 hour time commitment.
Preparation for the event begins at 6 a.m.
and clean up begins at 3 p.m. and finishes at 5 p.m.

Event Day availability times
Setup - Volunteers meet in the Memorial Glade area in front of the Doe Library (Main Library) to set up chairs, tables, garbage cans, etc. Must be on site at 6 a.m.
Check In - Check in other volunteers as they report to perform their specific duties.
Clean Up - Canvas the event to pick up loose trash during and after the event.
Food - Assist Housing and Dining staff with soda station, fruit stand, popcorn machines and distributing lunches.
Games - Run individual game booths during the event.
Massage Land - Volunteers will assist the massage therapist.
Bingo Tables - Facilitate the operation of the bingo area, i.e. calling numbers and handing out prizes.
Prizes - Distribute prizes to winners from the game booths.
Program Distribution - Distribute programs to guests at various locations.
Staff Prizes - Distribution of prizes to staff on the day of the event.
